    Additional Information & Pre-Registration

When you and your child arrive at RCC on a Sunday morning you will want to park on the northside of the building and enter through door C. Upon entering the building, you will be greeted by an RCC member who will be happy to assist you in finding the children's wing. Should no one be at the door when you arrive, you can use the overhead directional signs or stop by the main Welcome Center for assistance.

Safety is of utmost importance at RCC. As a first-time visitor you will need to stop at the children's ministry Welcome Desk to register your family/child. Your child will be given a name badge with a number that corresponds with a claims ticket given to you. You will need to hang onto this ticket and use it to check your child out of his/her classroom at the end of the hour.

In addition to our checkout process, all volunteers working with children at RCC have been background checked and trained in safety procedures.

    Want to save time?

Click on the button below to pre-register your family/child.

Baby Dedication is a time for parents to symbolically give their children back to the Lord. This is a joint expression of a parent's commitment to raise godly children and our commitment as a church to support and walk alongside parents in that calling.

If you have a child, 3 years old or younger, and would like to take part in our 2023 Baby Dedication, please complete and submit the application form below.

  • Standby Sub List

The children’s ministry department needs several peoplewilling to be placed on a standby sub list. This is especially important as we head into the summer months when ourregularly scheduled volunteers are taking time off for family and vacations.

Attached is a job description for standby subs and how thelist works. Those being placed on thelist will be able to choose the classes/grades where they are willing to serve.
Please take a few moments to read overthe information and prayerfully consider helping in this area.

If you are willing to be placed on the standby sub list, please stop by the Welcome Desk in the children’s wing this Sunday or email childrensministryrcc@gmail.comand request an information packet.

Our children's ministry, RCC Kids, is incredibly important to us. We want to see our kids saved by the Gospel, equipped in the Gospel, and sent with the Gospel into their schools, neighborhoods, and families.

    Classroom Age Groups

We have classes for kids from newborns all the way through 5th grade, and we start every Sunday morning with worship followed by a lesson that points the kids towards Jesus and helps root them in the Word of God.

      • Nursery: 0 - 2 years

      • Preschool: 3 years - TK (Transitional Kindergarten)

      • Lower Elementary: K - 2nd Grade

      • Upper Elementary: 3rd - 5th Grade*

*These older 3rd-5th grade students are signed in at the Kids' Connect desk when you arrive, and then accompany you (the parents) to the adult sanctuary for family worship. After worship they are dismissed and their teacher will be waiting in the back of the room to account for each student and return, as a group, to their classroom.

    Safety & Security

All of our KOM team members have been screened with a background check for extra security. If your child is visiting KOM for the first time, a team member will walk you through registering them with our check-in system. Try to arrive about 10 minutes before the service starts to get your children checked-in in time for the adult worship.

    The Gospel Project Curriculum

In our newborn - 8th grade classes we are using The Gospel Project Curriculum. This is a 3 year curriculum that immerses the kids in the Gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. The aim of this curriculum is for the kids to understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story - God’s story of redemption.

What’s great about this format is that all the kids are going through the SAME section of Scripture every week, but it is varied in depth and challenge for each class, uniquely age-appropriate for them; from worship songs, videos, in-class activities, to scripture memory.

There is also a take-home activity/discussion sheet that you, the parents, can review with your kids to keep up-to-date with what they’re learning and spark some great family discussions about the bible.

If you have any questions or would like more information about Kids on Mission:

Each lesson purposefully points the kids towards Jesus (not good works or simple obedience and morality), and helps root them in the Word of God. Over the 3 year cycle the kids will get an incredible understanding of how the Old Testament paves the way towards Jesus, and how the New Testament reveals Jesus!
